Your pc's RAM (random access memory) is responsible for holding data your processor is using to run programs (among other things). It's a big job so the more RAM you have the better.
The amount of RAM you have on board is measured in gigabytes.
It is also specified in generations e.g. ddr 2, 3 and 4 and hertz speed eg 1300mhz, 1600mhz, 2400mhz etc. The later the generation, the more gigabytes and higher the hertz speed, the better your pc can perform.
You cannot change the generation of RAM your pc uses or the hertz speed (generally speaking), but you can potentially increase the number of gigabytes you have on board.
This depends on how many RAM slots your motherboard has and how many gigabytes it is capable of using.
You may already have the maximum amount of RAM onboard or there may well be room for more as many pcs are not sold with a full compliment of RAM for price point reasons.
We can check to see if the amount of RAM you have can be double or sometimes quadrupled.
Simply call us and we will guide you to the place on your pc's windows that tells us all we need to know in order to do some online checks and establish this.
We will even do some online shopping with you to find the best price for the RAM you want.
If you choose to buy it and have it delivered to your door, we can install it for you if you prefer not to install it yourself.
Installation $30 plus call out.
